  • Are you in charge of your congregation’s email newsletters? 
  • This workshop will be a resource-sharing workshop on how to best use Constant Contact and MailChimp for email newsletters. 
  • Bring your list of tips and tricks to share, and a notepad to add more.
  • It will be helpful if you have your mailing platform open when we meet, so we can work together.

April 19: Church Websites, part 1

  • Do you manage your church’s website and find it a little overwhelming? Did you inherit a website and you have no idea where to start?
  • In this workshop, we will help ease some of your anxieties around your church’s website, discussing problems and brainstorming solutions to help aid in your website maintenance.
  • It will be helpful if you do the following before we gather: 
  • Find and successfully log into your website
  • Create a Word Doc with information about your website (login information, name of your website platform, website domain/URL, and name of Domain host – if you know it) 
  • This will probably be the first of an ongoing set of workshops on websites, this will at least allow people to feel more confident making changes to their website.

March 15: Canva for Church Communications

Are you interested in creating graphics, but intimidated by Adobe Photoshop? Meet Canva! 

We will work through a basic tutorial on Canva, showing how to make snazzy announcements, social media posts, and even formal documents! 

If you are with a congregation, it will be helpful to begin the process of signing up for Canva for Nonprofits. You can learn more about that here.

February 15: Zoom 201 – How to lead a Zoom call (scheduling, waiting rooms, breakout rooms) 

Do you find yourself longing to host a Zoom call or workshop but don’t know where to begin?

Come learn how to successfully lead a Zoom call. We will work through setting up registrations,waiting rooms, breakout rooms, and polls. 

We will take turns hosting and co-hosting the call and experimenting with the different tools available.
