Many of our congregations in the Diocese of Oregon are responding to the suffering of our underserved populations through a variety of ministries. The Housing Crisis Working Group is charged by the Bishop to develop approaches incorporating thought, word, and deed to accompany congregations in these ministries.
Partial funding for these efforts will be overseen by the Diocesan Council, including the distribution of the Thanksgiving Offering. If your community is looking for support of a project, such as food pantries, community gardens, medical clinics, and houseless shelters, please fill out an application.
Grants are limited to $500 per congregation.

Every congregation in the diocese is invited to collect a special Thanksgiving offering at their Thanksgiving service and/or the Sundays before and after Thanksgiving.
All of the money from this offering provides grants to congregations to support ministries serving people living in poverty or experiencing homelessness.
Checks should be made to the Diocese of Oregon with "Thanksgiving Offering" in the memo line and mailed to:
