Alonzo Tucker Historical Marker Ceremony

June 19 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Join the Oregon Remembrance Project and the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon for the installation of an Equal Justice Initiative historical marker in Coos Bay at the Coos Bay History Museum. One side will tell the story of lynching in America as a whole and the other side will tell the story of Alonzo Tucker, an African American who was lynched in Oregon in 1902.
The Oregon Remembrance Project is one individual but that doesn’t mean this is an individual effort.
You can watch online here.
