McMinnville is in the heart of wine country, less than an hour from the beach, and has a phenomenal school system. St. Barnabas is proud to have been a part of the McMinnville’s life for over 140 years – and we have members who have been part of the community for over 90!

Perhaps our most well-known ministry is our soup kitchen which has been serving meals (currently four days a week — more than 30,000 meals a year) for 27 years. Along with the soup kitchen we are part of an ecumenical group that gives basic staples to the Gospel Mission each month; we also send a group of young people to Mexico each year to build houses, host a cross-country bicycle ride that raises funds and awareness for cancer research, and are in the process of becoming more involved with issues around immigration.

We are blessed with a beautiful facility and grounds where deer roam. Our congregation enjoys contemporary and traditional forms of worship and love coming together for fellowship and fun. We are in the process of calling a new rector and are excited about the opportunity for growth. We welcome all people into our presence and come together understanding we are all flawed, all need the help of others, and are all children of God.
