We are pleased to welcome Christina Harutunyan to the Diocesan Staff as Executive Assistant to the Bishop.

About Christina: Christina Harutunyan was born in Las Vegas, NV and grew up in an Armenian household. Although she has a strong bond with her family, she recently relocated to Oregon with her fiancé because they were drawn to its natural beauty and positive energy. During her school years, Christina chose to pursue music and learned to play the viola for 8 years. After graduating she attended the University of Nevada but later focused on gaining hands-on experience in the work field. Christina has a background of experience performing a variety of administrative duties and previously worked for Caesar’s Entertainment as an Executive Assistant for the Casino Sales Department. She values family, morals, respect, and honesty. Her passion is being able to assist others, creating different forms of art, and showing kindness. She believes challenging yourself is one of the most important aspects of self-growth.  Christina loves animals and has been vegan for over 9 years. She values all lives and believes there is good in everyone. One of Christina’s favorite quotes that she manifests daily is “Be the change you want to see in the world.” Her goal is to become a wonderful asset to Bishop Diana Akiyama and the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon.

Christina will join the staff on June 1. Her email will be ChristinaH@diocese-oregon.org. Please contact Christina after June 1 to schedule appointments with Bishop Akiyama.
